Hello, I have been training for XC over the past two months. My coach has opted for gradually increasing volume as opposed to increasing pure intensity, or pace, so it's kind of hard to dictate how much I've truly improved. For an example, I did a threshold workout a few months, 3xmile with a 2 minute jog between. A few days ago I did 2x2mile + 1 mile with ~2-3min jog between, at a similar pace. If anyone who has done something similar could share, or could estimate how much I've actually improved I'd greatly appreciate it.
