The fastest distance running states for the 2023 XC season went to UTAH. Utah was projected to be 2nd with a 8:56 average for returner runners in the 3200. However, they surpassed expectations and went on to place - 1-4-13-17-28 at NXN for a total of = 63 points. They beat the projected number 1 state, California, which had a 8:49 average for returning runners in the 3200. California went - 8-9-19-24-26. Colorado placed 3rd.
