I'm not sure if I've ever thrown out a doping accusation before, but with the rise of Italy's track athletes this year, and with Jacobs not having done anything impressive since the last Olympics (don't think he was any good before that year either), I've got a strong suspicion that he's doping.
Would be great if I were wrong but too many things are suspicious for me in this situation.
His post this week with the IG-provided translation:

His sciatic nerve problems come from massively overstriding in the front part of his stride and not allowing anything natural to develope in the back of the stride. Instead of natural push off, he just rips out his leg to the front to overstride again. It kinda works, but he will always be plagued by injuries because of this.
While he is indeed sus af I would still love to see him block that clown Lyles in the 100.
Jacobs has run OK but has looked shaky. I would go with Seville rather than Jacobs. Omanyala just ran 9.79 but his (brief) history is to run fast early and fizzle in the championships, maybe he will do better this year.

What relevance does Italy’s rise here when he lives and trains in Florida now? Are you suggesting Italy is shipping drugs to their athletes training outside Italy but not to their training partners in the same groups? Lmao
I’m not even saying he’s clean (it is track after all) but this site has a habit of drawing connections off of anything when the truth is if someone is doping you probably won’t know how their program works because they’ve hid the lead. I just learn to sit back and watch
