i was wondering how much room college programs left for recruiting prospects in fall of senior year? i'm a rising senior, i spent all of last year injured essentially and never ran for more than 6 weeks straight, but i still managed to cobble together some good times indoor (2:38, 1:59 doubling back after the 2:38, 4:28). after i ran 4:28 in january, a stress fracture took me out for the rest of indoor then a hamstring strain ended my season sometime in may before i really managed to run anything noteworthy outdoor. im not 100% set on running in college, but i do feel good about where my fitness will be after a huge summer training block and i'm confident i can run super fast in xc. is there any shot at recruiting interest if this happens, or has that ship already sailed? interested in hearing any takes on this.
