From what I understand none of them have trained much or at all at altitude, so they should be poised to improve a lot from that standpoint. Also, the OAC is no doubt the most stacked from in the country now
Ky Robison is interesting because he overlaps with Morgan which is something they’d avoided. Other two make a lot of sense given that they don’t have a female steepler any more, and Ramsden is a Kiwi.

McDonald is 28 now and hasn't made it out of the semi's in every global final he's competed at

I'd be sweating on a Good Olympics if I were Morgan McDonald. Those original contracts are surely up for renewal after Paris and he has mostly been injured.

Maybe on the men’s side, not so much on the women’s

No idea on his contract timing, but he’s a good ambassador for the brand and has made the Aussie team. I suspect they’re pleased with that. He’ll be a heavy favorite to make it on a 2025 team, and 28 isn’t particularly old. Suspect he has pretty good value on the market right now.
That brings the grand total to 5 Americans, 1 Kenyan, 5 Oceania, and 3 Europeans when broken by nationality. Not including the lower any lower tier runners.
Curious about the Oceania runners choosing Ritz's group over the Mottram's group. Given both are sponsored by ON, I would have thought they would opt for home cooking with Mottram.
I don't know if Mottram accepts Americans in his program down under, but how epic would it be to have an American move to Australia and train under Mottram and achieve success? it would be like the opposite of what all the Aussies/Kiwis are doing these days.
You'd get a lot more one-on-one coaching attention with Mottram than Ritz is capable of now with his much larger base of runners.

seems like they had a taste of US collegiate scene and have opted to stay... aside from some good domestic races, Aus is REALLY far from everything as far as racing goes.

Morgan just ran 13:00. While that isn't quite what it used to be, it is still a PR and shows how talented he is when healthy. The Coffee Club has also created added value as far as brand reach and awareness.

Interesting that On's press release was dated Friday, the start of the US Olympic Trials. Guessing too many social media leaks, so they had to put it out, or someone on On's PR team didn't bother to change it. No biggie.
Where does this put Nike? Where does this put Valby? Moving Jerry to U of O not only killed off that program but the Bowerman program. They cannot be happy, unless they are looking to only sign international and backing out of investing in distance and middle distance in North America.
