Assume a normal easy run of 6-8 miles with a short morning double. If I'm able to average 12.55 for 4 of these with walk back rest, progressing slightly faster for each successive one (i.e. 12.8 to 12.3 2 days ago), what does this signify for my possible 400 time? Would sub 51 be possible?
They felt relatively controlled, especially the slower ones - 12.3 felt a bit quicker but I was still relaxed. They also had a bit of acceleration built into them - I was probably running at 4:45 pace as I crossed the 100m start line to begin.
