hi my PB is 19:20 but i need to run 17:59 by next week Saturday. if i do i will be recommended to an athletics club and i won't have to pay a club fee and will get free gear. My PB is like 2 months old now and since then i have increased my mileage peaking at 50 miles per week. i'm still in the midst of building mileage so that could be another obstacle. Should i taper this week? is it impossible for me? should i just go out at 5:45 pace and try to hang on for as long as i can?
also i'm on the young side so i'm improving a bit faster.
