Moment of truth shortly. Insane to @rojo’s point on multiple fronts:
a) there are almost no ranking points in the Kenyan Trials 1500 where you have 3 top 10 guys in the world and few other top 50 guys in Munguti and Keter. If this is because Kenya is weak in other events, an easy fix is to designate the distance events as a different category than sprints/field
b) No altitude conversion at all, not saying it’s much at all but they should maybe adjust a second or so for a 1500
c) Kenya can’t reallocate so Munguti is SOL if he runs 3:36+ here or so.
Granted he should run better than that but all the travel is hard as is putting it together after a signature performance.
