Nowhere near me sells spikes. I can buy online, but I've never bought spikes before, so don't know how size corresponds to training shoes, how it's meant to feel, etc.
Buy online and hope, or travel to buy in person?

Most sites have a return policy, so my advice would be to buy online and try them on. If they don’t fit correctly, then just return them.
They generally run small is my experience. But not always. Order 2 and return 1 is a decent strategy too.
Thanks everyone. I'm racing the 800m 7 times in the next 3 months and have just got back into training properly, so keen to avoid injury. Likely will start around 2:25 and get faster, don to 2:15-2:20. Would the dragonflies distance spikes be OK? Goals are:
1: Run quicker over 800
2: DO NOT get injured
3: Don't, as much as possible, look like a total twat wearing incredibly fancy spikes as a hobby jogger
Not sure if the dragonflies would be the best choice for all 3 (new to this area).
