i run on a college team- nearly all my other teammates have very defined runners abs. I’m pretty skinny at 138 and 5’10, but no matter if I’ve increased my weight to 146 or to 132 I’ve never been able to get any ab definition at all. I run about 60-65 miles per week and I’m not slow as I’m 5th on the team as a freshman and beat most of the other people on my team that have the abs.
is there something that causes this? I don’t know if it has anything to do with it but the only other people on my team that don’t have abs on my team are the fastest, second fastest and slowest person on my team.
what’s the reason(s) for my inability to get abs? Is it genetics? Is it harmful to my running?
