Talked about hitting OT standard before race and the idea that in a few weeks could have a (small) chance at making Paris team but runs 10:01. Is it time for her to stop misleading herself and fans that she really is a top level track athlete and just focus on being an influencer and model?

If an athlete has the resources and finds fulfillment to continue competing, why stop? I say keep doing it if you’re having fun. One day it’ll all be over. Enjoy it while you can.

Oh she can train and race all she wants but stop fooling yourself and your fans. You have zero chance of ever earning a Team USA uniform again
Aren’t we required to refer to Allie O as ‘Convicted Doper Allie O’?
… I mean when we talk about Asbel Kiprop, Regina Jacobs, Marion Jones, they’re referred to as ‘convicted doper’, but people make all sorts of excuses for Shelby, Allie, etc…

Quigley has been done for a long time now.
Slow transition to an Olympian influncer like the one from Greece. She can milk that for 2 to 3 more years based on her good looks. Not a bad career. It sure beats working in cubicles.
It’s literally only because of her looks…. Otherwise she’d be irrelevant like Anthony Famiglietti who tried to be an influencer, treadmill world record holder, and YouTube prank sensation of old guy at the track.

She is quitting track and doing triathlon for the next few years. So she will still be competing but in a different sport.
Her biggest issue is income. As long as Lululemon is willing to pay her to be a triathlete, then she can keep on going as a pro athlete.
No one expects her to make the Olympic team as a triathlete, so she has no pressure on her.
Decent income, exercise just a few hours per day, then post random things on Instagram. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
Uhhh, I think there are plenty of people who are paid by Lululemon to rep their product and have never been athletes. They’re called models. It was something she did before running. I don’t think she has to complete to get paid. You have heard of social media and people getting paid for it based on the number of followers, right?
