Just did a workout of 600, 2x300 with full rest after everything: 4 minutes after the 600, 2 after the first 300. Ran 1:23.5, 42.0, 40.3 - pace slightly lagged on the first 300 but felt very relaxed. One year ago I ran 1:58 off a workout of 1:30, 46, 43 off slightly longer rest.
I'm definitely more of strength based runner but I really enjoy racing the 800. What mile shape would this signify? I feel like 4:03 is possible?
