Not a complete begginer and not a runner. Have had many breaks on and off, every single time when I try running I get squeezing pain in both of my calves muscles. 15-25cm above my heel the pain is the strongest, but I do feel it above that as well. Been trying to stay active for 2-3 months with 2 runs weekly about 5 kms each, slow tempo, pulse about 140-150. Other days I try to do a fast walk on flat surface about 5 kms per day.
Been trying massages, roller, calf raises, ball massages, stretching, gun massage, calf sleeves, ice baths for legs after runs. It does help a tiny bit, but not much. The pain is not unbearable, can walk normally, but after 1-2 kms of jog it gets worse. Was hoping it would get better by now, but it is more or less the same. Any ideas?
