I have a goal HM (on gravel/trails) next weekend. One week before I plan to do either a 5k parkrun or a local 15k trail race. If I do the 5k parkrun I will probably run "all out". If I join the 15k trailrace I will do it as a "moderate longrun / marathon effort ish".
What do you guys think is the best preperation for the HM next weekend? 5k all-out or 15k moderate on specific terrain (gravel/trail)?
I did a 10k all-out last weekend (14 days before the goal HM).
I am a low-milage guy, my fitness level is around 36 min for 10k and around 1.20 for HM.
