PS: I know I am deadly slow so don’t be mean to me about it. I already want to improve.
Also please give advice I NEED TO IMPROVE
Im 16f and I want to have a significant improvement before XC season. I’m relatively new to running; I started running last August, but I was very very inconsistent with it and when I did run. My milage was like 13 mpw or sometimes less. But I ran for like 4 months if we count only the times I did run. I also suffer from low iron. But I’m deadly slow, I haven’t ran in months or so but my time was 8 minute per mile when I just measured it, I have gotten a lot slower. My diet is also very bad I don’t eat a lot and when I do eat it’s always sweets and carbs. I’m also a bit fat well ofc not fat because I’m 114 pounds at 5’3 but I lack muscle.
But now I’m willing to change all that, I’ll take my irons consistently, I will eat healthy and I will increase my milage. But what more can I do? I’m genuinely in need of improving my time very significantly. My goal mile time is 6 minutes per mile. But I lack base speed.
what I’ll do to improve
- take irons consistently
- run consistently even if everytime I run I hate it so bad I want to stop
- Eat healthy
- try and run very high milage (I don’t know how this will work tho)
- significantly lose weight from 114 — 90pounds
To anyone who was at my spot, how can I improve so significantly ?
