So I have a month long trip planned up at 6k ft. for altitude training with my friends. Then my original plan was to have 2 weeks back at sea level before I go back up for a 1 week camp with the team. Does it necessarily matter that I’m going back down to sea level for 2 weeks? It’s already a big investment going on this trip but is it worth it to stay an extra 2 weeks to make it 7 weeks straight at altitude? I’m prioritizing running gains here. Should I plan to stay that extra 2 weeks?
