Iron supplements. originally forgot about this Everyone in college takes iron supplements especially girls. I would recommend getting a blood test for your ferritin level. The doctor will tell you that as long as it's above 30 it's fine but you can still lose performance if you're below 40 for girls and 50 for guys.
Seems like a lot of the girls don't do that much different (on my team). The training is just more. Of course I don't know everything people are doing, but seems like they are running higher mileage and longer faster workouts. Compared to say most highschoolers
You'll see a lot of people recommend running a lot of mileage during the summer for guys around peak 55 60 and girls maybe 45 50 going into your senior year.
You have to be careful though a lot of people get injured I did. Sleep is the biggest cheat code and next is eating enough.
I am personally a big fan of doubling as research has shown that it increases tendon and bone adaptations and lowers the damage done to those systems. Decreasing injury risk.
