I'm 49 years old and struggling with finding a good running plan. Unfortunately, the last 2 years I've found that when I get to the 30 mpw mark or start to fit in over 10 mile runs I get some type of injury. Usually, this is a calf or knee injury.
Currently, I'm running a 10K with about a 7 1/2 minute pace. I would really like to get that down to about 6 1/2 minute pace but don't know how to do this due to struggling to get my mileage up.
Any help would be appreciated.
