Hello Letsrun
I am currently 3 days out from my state meet, where I will be running the mile and 4x800 meter relay. I am going after the win in both events, but came across a big road bump this week. I have developed a shin splint in my right shin. It does not hurt to run on at all, but moving my ankle around and moving it up hurts a decent bit. I have been icing my shin, taking advil, doing mobility exercises and lots of stretching, but it does not seem to get much better. I plan to do a 1 mile tempo today, an off day tomorrow, and a pre race on friday. Do you think it is ok for me to run?
