If Arcadia's 3200 showed something, it was that this year is stacked. How many runners do we see breaking 4 at Hoka this year? HOKA should be the big mile races this year. Anyone know when the entries will be posted?

Assuming all the best guys from Arcadia are in it and healthy, I'd expect Griffith, Simmons, jourdon(already went sub-4), steadman, and Neil would have the best shots at going sub 4, with some more "B-tier" guys like Noonan and pajak getting close. As for the race itself, if it's not sub 4, I can see Noonan winning it with his kick but if it's as fast as last year, it'll be Griffith or jourdon.
Hoka published the list -
Drew Griffith, WIlliam Steadman, Clay Shively, Zach Hillhouse, Corbin Coombs, Nathan Neil, Tommy Latham, Charlie Vause, Caden Leonard, Adam Burlison, Steven Hedengren, James Partlow, Colin Eckerman, Ryan Pajak, Dane Eike
I feel like Drew Griffith, Nathan Neil, William Steadman can go sub 4. The rest is a hit or miss. Too bad theres no jojo jourdon and danny simmons. Jojo said he has been injured for a bit so maybe that's why hes not on the list

Has Doug Soles ever had anyone go sub-4? I don’t think so. Steadman could be the first one.
Carson Smith went sub-4 in college this winter but that was years after he was coached by Soles

The list I'm waiting for is the professional list. A nice $3,000 first place is going to bring in some good runners. Less than four days out now and still nothing.

oh I wasn't aware that they increased the prize fund. Usually I watch high school but if the pro race is going to be fast, i'll toon into that as well
Thanks. I hope the other lists are coming soon.
Meet starts in less than 3 days and they have released nothing but a few high school lists. Who are the pros?

Clay Shively has hit exactly 4 minutes twice (at least that I know of) at New Balance he pretty much ran the last lap alone. if he can get into the front group in the final kick he might be able to push himself to sub-4
Men's field is listed.
Engelhardt in pro race
Fast Horse might break 4. He’s peaking
