My guess is Kelati and ESP will make the 5k team.
Valby is the only other runner who is running fast PR's and healthy do she has a good shot.
Cranny pulled out of LAGP and then only ran 4:03 at Pre so there are some questions. Although, last year she ran 15:16 at LAGP and came back to simone everyone at the trials shop not filling her out
Rogers, Henes, Morgan, Andrews, Schweizer are all fast enough at peak fitness but are not there (yet). Can they get there?
Anyone else is too inconsistent.
Tuohy has been injured and yet to race at all as a pro. Also, Coach Henes other pro runners are not performing well and her NC State teammates take a long time to get back to fitness. Coach Henes probably treats injury recovery conservatively which is good. But it seems somewhat unlikely Tuohy will be ready to PR and make the team by the trials since she has not even raced. (As a fan I am hoping that she is, but being realistic based on the fact that she has not raced).
With Kelati, ESP and Valby in the race it may be fast even with the heat. I don't see a kicker winning either race this year.
Re the 10k - Kelati, Valby and Schweizer or Henes have the best chances. Valby should get the ranking from NCAAs and doing well at the trials.
