Im a high school sophomore and I just ended my track season with a 4:27 1600m and a 9:43 3200m. A few days after state I raced a track 5k and ran 16:08, it was an alright race but I wasnt mentally there. I averaged about 25 miles a week throughout the season with a reasonable amount of cross training as I was fighting injuries. What could I run in cross country if I stay healthy and build up my mileage?
