Im a HS freshman (guy) and just finished my season with a 2:14 and relatively no winter running coming in to the season. My goal for next year is a 2:05 or less, is this possible?

At your age, and from physical maturation, you probably have a better than even chance. If you were a junior, it could be very difficult,

Absolutely. Depending on how much you potential and talent you have you could go much faster than 2:05. I've seen people go from 2:16 to 1:59 in a year.
I've seen a guy go from, no joke, 2:11 to 1:52 during freshman to sophomore year.

Was that 2:16 a season PR, or just from the first meet?
