They are arguing in favor of the high school athlete who won in Oregon this weekend. I wonder if this is the year that they flip a coin and end up in the men’s 1500 at the trials. Truly staggering odds that they’ve ended up in the women’s section this many years in a row.

Would Hiltz feel the same way if she lost to a biological male, either a Semenya or Lia Thomas type athlete?
Hiltz has a big mouth when it comes to other people being affected. I don't think Hiltz would be so brave if it directly affected Hiltz.

They referred to women’s sport as “us” in their tweet. I just don’t understand how you can refer to women’s sport as “us” and simultaneously correct anyone who refers to “them” as “her”

I agree. I am trying, but I have trouble following their thinking here.

Yeah this is a good point. I truly wonder how Nikki would feel if Craig Engels had a year ago decided to change his gender identity, took a years worth of estrogen that took him from a 3.36 runner to one that could still run say 3.52 quite comfortably and then won the upcoming trials with Nikki finishing say I dunno, 4th - essentially ending any chance she had of ever competing at an Olympic Games.
It is always surprising to me how athletes like Hiltz parade themselves under this cape of altruism, yet at the same time have not an ounce of empathy for those who are affected by the very cause they choose to support. Last weekend a young girl missed out on the chance to run in a state final because of a selfish young adult who has been conned into believing they are entitled to it all. That may seem trivial to Nikki who is competing for a spot in a major championship and not a "lowly" state meet final but the arrogance to be so unawares of this is laughably ironic.
It’s been an hour since Nikki responded to my criticism on twitter by saying that they used the word “us” because they “participate in women’s sports.” Half hour later and they have not yet answered the question-
Doesn’t Hiltz compete in her sex assigned at birth? Isn’t that what you people want?
This gets brought up in every thread that Hiltz comes up in, but it doesn’t even make sense this time. They (lol) is directly advocating here for what we DON’T want - biological men in women’s sports. What Hiltz personally does doesn’t even matter here.
