Can we have some rankings of brands/models now that the super spike game seems to have evened out in the last year?

For the mile (spikes I've tried)
1. nike dragonfly: will probably work for the most people. It's light, the zoom x pops, it's not too aggressive. You can't go wrong with it.
2. new balance ld-x (the one with of fuelcell). The one to go for if you like lots of explosiveness. It's extremely bouncy. The plate doesn't bend at all and the foam slab is THICK. You will bounce around the track effortlessly. But the stiffness is harsh on the achilles and the tradeoff is that straightaways feel incredible but the curves are a bit squirrely.
3. nike victory: again this spike is fast and explosive but very aggressive, achilles beware. turns also awkward. put below ld-x bc it really only works at elite paces and a forefoot strike. Also: it's not durable. Forefoot pods are known to pop mid race.
4. saucony terminal vt: would probably be ranked lower if I had tried others. Unlike the other three, it doesn't give a super-spike boost. Have heard rumors something actually went wrong with the production of Saucony's new 'powerrun hg' foam and it honestly feels like it. It's a really firm foam that doesn't compress and doesn't bounce, so it feels like you're just running on a firm platform. At least it's incredibly light. That's really the only thing it has going for it. Only worth it at half price for workouts, not for races.
