Did my first VO2 max session in a long time as I've been building base. I've been getting a lot of good tempo volume in at about 5:05 - 5:10 / mile pace and am feeling very aerobically strong.
I ran them slightly slower than 5000 pace, probably track 6000 pace. I ran 8:45, 2:55, 2:54 followed by a couple of 200s at about 800m effort (28-29). I felt surprisingly relaxed on this and din't feel any discomfort until 600 to go in the 3000 and 400 to go in the 1000s. Took 5 minutes after the 3000 and 2 after the 1000s.
What mile fitness would this indicate in about 2 weeks more of training?
