As evidenced by the progression from 27 to 25 to 23, 'she' sandbagged earlier meets.
LRC note: Doug Binder has a nice recap of what happened Saturday at the Oregon state meet here:
LRC note. We changed the title of the thread to make it more clear what exactly happened. The thread was initially entiteld, "Transgender sprinter wins Oregon girls' state championship 200". Moving forward, you must be a registered user to post.

Democrat policies at work:
I would be curious how the crowd and fellow competitors reacted. I can't imagine many people being happy about this, especially the girl who placed second. When the winners were on the podium, was there booing, polite applause, nearly quiet, what?

Trans for the WIN!
Back to the kitchen and ironing board bio-girls!
The second place finisher got a huge ovation. The winner was booed. Before the gun, a protester in the stadium was yelling something about “How is this fair?!”.
In the 400, the crowd went crazy when Josie Donalson won and set a new state record. It was tight and you could feel the relief of the crowd. Also, there were armed Lane County Sheriff and UO officers at the start, finish, and podium areas. There were some quiet and respectful posters and many athletes and parents wearing #savegirlssports shirts and hoodies.
Also should mention, about half of the competition would accept a handshake and half would give her the silent treatment and walk away.

Oregon is not as woke as California or Washington, but a lot of people are chicken to speak about anything for fear of being fired, canceled etc. Government and courts are controlled by wokes and the governor is woke AF

Schools are bound by ADA and Title IX legislation. This is a no-win situation for ADs and Pincipals. They may 100% agree with you but there is no benefit to risking their careers for the outcome of the girls 200m championship in Oregon.

We are not scouring the "interwebs." We live here and our kids race here. We are the people in the stands. We care because this isn't just a "theory," it is a real-life situation for our daughters.
There are actual biological girls who are impacted by these policies. You don't train all year and do your utmost to just get beat by a boy...
And the boys in the 400m, for example, ran faster than the women's world leading times. More than one boy in Oregon ran in the 48s this weekend. No female on Earth has run that fast this year. People who act like the girls should just try harder are cruel. The girls are trying as hard as they can and deserve to have their own podiums and victories...
This is what fans have to look forward to now. Darn. Lmfao!!!!!!!!!

Doug Binder was at the meet and has written a really good editorial on this at DyeStat -- very measured and sympathetic to the athlete, but firm on the need to prevent this from happening again.
