The 2016 Olympic finalist at 800 ran her first races since 2021 and ran 2:01.93 to destroy everyone in the "D" heat of the 800 and then came back to run 4:11.92 in C heat of the 1500.
There was another thread on her by the crazy guy who post nonsensical stuff about Los Angeles but I felt her comeback deserves it's own thread.

I'm glad she is healthy again. But I wonder what her plan is for her running career. Running a "D" heat and a "C" heat doesn't exactly scream potential 2024 Olympic team member.
And she'll be almost 40 by the next Olympics. Hopefully she did an interview after tonight's races that will shed some light on what she hopes to accomplish on the track.

The Hollywood-USC-UCLA industrial sports entertaining complex needs to build a 100000 seat state of the art track and field stadium with a gigantic 50x100 meter HD screen and live streaming. The royalties go to track athletes and their fans. Disney and Netflix tech engineers should partner with them to provide free 24 hour programming. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Calmo in Cali. You sukkas! I'm living rent free in your heads. Rent free. HAHAHA!

That was her first race after having a baby… she will get faster every race.

She also only had about 75 minutes give or take between races and per her comments hasn’t been doing 1500 training really. She gave a good interview after posted on Citius YouTube channel and posted some thoughts on her Instagram. Sounds like she has some good race plans in place. Happy for her

Saw that in the results and hoped it would make your lead page. That is a quality comeback. In progress and looking great!
No. Not sure what exactly transpired but she posted an Instagram at some point in the last few months about being “self coached” and team boss hasn’t highlighted her at all on their social media for races etc. doesn’t seem like there’s bad blood, she was at McGees wedding.

She briefly addressed it in a video. Essentially that with experienced (older) athlete, coming back from postpartum, she needs to be super reactive to her body and make little adjustments to training to stay healthy and make the best progress so she is now self coached and calls in her many advisors. Shes also switched coaches every few years of her career, seems like shes one of those athletes that benefits from new stimuli.
