Has anyone found them anywhere? Should be an exciting two days. Curious how everyone gets divided up as there are some good runners who will inevitably end up in B heats.
I found the results page, but no start lists are populated yet.
Quite seriously - I thought WA imposed a requirement that to get the Category ranking for your event you had to do certain things - like have a website / schedule etc ... and publish the start list ?? If you want to attract fans to the sport you have to be able to show what's on offer, so media, pundits, hack commentators can communicate this to their audiences...
This is really disappointing but I can't say that I'm surprised. Hopefully Syd makes it to the starting line but at least she's been racing this spring.
As much as I like Mu and would like to see her succeed, these withdrawals are making it harder to be a fan. I may be pulling for Hodgkinson or Moraa this season. If Syd doesn't keep competing I'll jump on the Femke bandwagon.
Interesting that Maia Ramsden is in the 1500 field with the NCAA regionals next weekend.
The women's 200 is totally being billed as a Gabby vs Syd race with them in lanes 5 & 6 and putting Steiner out in lane 8 but if Steiner is regaining her form after her lengthy rehab from surgery, it's Gabby vs Abby. I expect Syd to have a respectful showing but the 200 is not in her bailiwick.

I'm guessing Maia is trying to get enough points for NZL Olympic team selection.

What about Adeleke? Given Thomas is coming back from the 100m 20 mins earlier, you could argue Adeleke should be the favorite here.

Thomas isn't in the start list for the 100m anymore.

Thomas & Steiner are both in the "B" race of the 100 which is at 2:50. That said, Adeleke isn't a bad call but if Thomas & Steiner are on top of their game, Adele won't be with them. You're comparing someone with a 22.34 PR to Thomas & Steiner with PRs of 21.60 & 21.77, respectively.
I was watching last weeks trackfest 10k on youtube. I kid you not, the announcers did not know who all was in the race. They were waiting until people's names popped up on the boards.

But neither Thomas nor Steiner are in PB form yet.
If we go purely on this years results, Thomas is clearly the favourite. However, Adeleke has that fantastic 10.84w over 100m and that 48.5 relay leg. Clearly her 22.6 SB is not representative of her form. Re Steiner, similarly, one imagines her 22.7 isn't representative either, considering she has run 11.05. However...that 800m she ran was poor so it could be her speed endurance just isn't there yet.
I think Thomas will win in a 22.0, with Adeleke in 22.2 & Sydney just behind in a 22.3. I think Steiner comes in 4th at best.
