Are carbon plates necessarily “good” for daily runs? If I do run in them every day will I get an injury? Will it make a difference in my race when I use a carbon plate just on race day.

I just bought the Hoka Skyward X. It has a 50 mm stack and the plate is meant to stabilize the ride. They are pretty plush but pretty heavy.
Id avoid them as a daily trainer dude.
What reason could you possibly have for wearing plated shoes on easy days?
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. My coach suggested I get some shoes with carbon plates, and then I asked if I really should run in them every day.. he basically told me why not? He suggested that to another girl on my team she listened to him and her feet where killing her by the end of the season, I assumed that her running in the plates every day had something to do with this. But yeah this is why I come to let’s run.com….you guys know what your talking about.
