do both work just as well? I wouldn’t usually question this, but I used to be in a track and field club, which was and still is considered one of the best in the country. The team is full of people who have competed at the world stage as young as their teens. Did I forget to mention a national record holder?
The only thing confusing me, was how un-“periodized” the training schedule was, which is changed weekly. However, each week, no matter if it was on or off season, had at least 2 days of workouts involving anaerobic effort. It seems to go against everything that is a “good schedule”, but the people who have been following this training for years are elites, at least that’s my opinion. Does anyone have a similar experience? Or possible explanation?
