1. Amherst — Best set of returners. Henry Dennen is Him. Craig and Dow have been incredible.
2. Williams — Its Namiots world and we’re just living in it. Need to have some good progression from other guys without lucey, ratcliffe, lentz but they’re always strong
3. tufts — a bunch of injured elephants right now but their roster rivals Amherst. Hopefully no more stressies. Please get out of the pool.
4. Middlebury — with some strong recruits and a great returning squad these fellas are ready for another year of solidish NESCAC placement.
5. Bowdoin — the loss of peters and angevine along with a pretty disappointing year last year are discouraging. However, Will Goddard can get it done and they’ve got plenty of talent to back him up. Gonna take some decent development from McDonough, brandes and company
6. Bates — no ned or the rest of their top three are returning. Huston and porter look to make a big impact. Can Ross run the 8k? Lots of questions leading into next year.
7. Conn — These guys are solid but they’ve underperformed in cross consistently. That 5k/10k guy is a total baller too. Hard to believe this team can be any better than the teams with Carter and Love.
8. Wesleyan— Calhoun, Kermath, Mohoney look very promising but not enough good cross results to give a more favorable rating. These guys could be some big risers on this list though. Maybe this is Wesleyans year…
9. Colby — After a pretty massive fall from grace in the post Tyler Morris era 2nd->11th, the mules are still reassembling after their dismantlement. They still need to fill some holes in the but they are certainly trending in the right direction. Look for Doore next year.
10. Trinity — Looking pretty bleak . Almost put them behind Hamilton but I think Strymish clears Hamilton’s entire roster by 20 places at NESCACs. Something big has got to happen if they are gonna be good next year.
11. Hamilton — Track season has been quite bad for these guys. Hopefully Quinn and Trenk can progress some and contribute some lower sticks.
