I ran 4:49 this weekend, my last meet is in ~2 and a half weeks. Is it possible with speedwork, a taper, and a good race? I ran 5:10 at my first race, which was a little less than a moth ago. I'm in high school and this is my second year running.

Yes, it's possible. Since you're in high school just be confident in your coach's training. Outside of that, the big things are making sure you do the non-running stuff (nutrition, sleep, mental game) right without over-stressing. Be confident in yourself. You've done the work, now is the time to see what you can do.
Yes it's very possible. Easy no you gotta grind and lock in but the potential is 100% there and with good enough comp maybe even 4:35. It just depends on how much you want it
It is possible, but it will be really hard, but I will give you a race plan, it will hurt like hell, but I used it to run 4:37 so if you follow it, it should help.
Lap 1: Go hard, not hard to burn out, but first 200 hard, get with a group that is around your goal and try to stick with them.
Lap 2: Run this one hard as the faster this lap is, the faster your 3rd lap should be. It will hurt and the last half of this lap.
Lap 3: Run this lap hard like it’s your final lap, just without a sprint at the end, it will hurt like hell, but it will work. With 500m left, pick up pace.
Lap 4: Every 100m pick up pace, be in a sprint with 200m-150m left. With 100m left be in a full sprint, and with 50m left, try to go even faster.
Some other tips s are if you fell like your going fast or equal pace on lap 2 and 3, your going to slow, you need to pick it up a lot. Whenever you feel tired, pick up pace, this will prevent you from judging your speed on effort, which would make you slower. If you follow this, you may have a chance at sub 4:40, but it will be hard. Good luck
