Hi, I'm a freshman in high school and I run between 35-40 miles per week. I just ran a 3200 in 11:50 with the splits 80/88/91/94/94/90/88/82 (rounded). I noticed that the first two and last two laps add up to a 5:38 1600, which is faster than my current 1600 PR (5:43). This made me think my 1600 PR is definitely worse than what I can run right now, so my question is what could I run for a mile off of this? I have a race coming up next Saturday and want to know what pace to aim for. Also, what could I run for a 3200 with better pacing (not opening in 80 and then 94s in the middle)?
Thank you!
