As seen in the video, my left knee drives diagonally instead of straight when walking forward. This has been my most natural walking form for the past 4 months. If I try to make my knee drive straight forwards, I get these glute/quad spasms that won't go away until I allow my left leg to drive diagonally again. I can deal with it when I'm walking around, but it's prevented me from running for four months. It also acts up really aggressively on the elliptical, but not at all on the bike or arc trainer.
I have seen some good specialists about this problem, who all have some good ideas about what could be going wrong, but so far I haven't been able to fix it. I just want to get as many ideas as possible going, so I'm curious if anyone on here has any ideas about what could be wrong. Thanks.
