Currently I potentially have an upcoming meet this Saturday, but I'm in a financial rut and thought about if I should work 50 hours a week for the next 7 weeks to get back on my feet. The thing is, I can't train during that time since all of my time will be filled with work and my job is hard physical labor. It's like going to gym except much more egregious.
These videos are just simple highlights of some top end velocity training, and even a small sample of reverse ladder sprints. I dont know my official 100m time and I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help with my potential.
For context, I'm 5'11, 199lbs. The videos you see are me just doing 30m, 60m, and 100m and 200m off screen. I'm trying to get into a college team also.
I really don't have a formal coach or anyone in my life that sees things from my perspective. On one hand I could sacrifice the time for some much needed TLC, money wise. On the other, I might be sacrificing my gains and after training this hard for so long I don't know if I can do that.
If anyone could help me or assess my speed and potential. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
