Popularity-wise: Adios Pro 3 seems to be the crowd favorite, there was a sale at $200 for them for a bit, but they're back to being $250
-Runner-Ups: Asics Metaspeed Sky/Paris ($250), Nike Alphafly 3 (most pricey at $280)
Value-wise: Saucony has pretty frequent sales on the Endorpin Pro line, and I see mostly positive reviews. People like the Adidas Takumi Sen ($180) a lot, though that's more a Half Marathon and down shoe.
I'd say before Vaporfly 3, that might've been the overall favorite. It seems the recent update took a little of the aggression/speed/versatility of previous versions away. Suspect the 4th edition might go back to what 1/2 were.
Nike/Adidas/Asics had been testing the best in the lab. Others have been closing the gap. On is big in the triathlon scene rn. Most of us don't have access to testing and/or can't buy multiple pairs. Would go with something tried & true just so you don't feel like your shoes are any less than someone else's heading into a race.
