No. She is laughing all of the way to the bank. Had she waited, contract options would have dried up.

And if she went early she would have missed out on a team title. She timed it well…
As fans of track it would great to have insight is what is going on with all the pro athletes. Half of them go silent and you have no clue if they are training hard or out for the season
So she's not gonna race before trials at all?
By "going pro" you mean granola processing?
she graduated and signed a pro contract worth enough to purchase a house in Raleigh and continues to train with her coach, all her teammates plus her brother but yes I'm sure she regrets missing this years Dr. Sander Invite.

Nevertheless! I regret graduating from kindergarten because otherwise i would’ve beat up all other kids and eaten their lunch for free.
It's still early in granola season

First of all, the premise is wrong. From what I can see, she is still listed as #1 all time (in season) in indoor mile and 3000 and outdoor 5000. Perhaps the latter does not last much longer. So which one of her records has been annihilated?
Has she raced since NCAA xc? Wonder what her adidas contract has in terms of performance minimums.
Separately, am I the only one who thinks she’ll never make a worlds or Olympic team?
Pics?

It’s possible, but she has had a much better NCAA career than many others who have made teams so not certain how probable it is.

The NCAA 5k record. Valby ran faster indoor than Tuohy ran outdoor. Tuohy signed her contract at the perfect time. Her skid started last outdoor season and now she doesn't even race anymore. But she has a nice house.
How is there a thread on how/why she hasn’t raced every single day when we know she was/is injured?
Would y’all be happy if she raced once on an injured hamstring in February/March and potentially be out for the rest of the year?
Some injuries don’t just go away after 8-12 weeks. She hasn’t raced in 5 months. That’s not really an outrageous amount if she couldn’t run regularly for 3 months + building back up.

Tuohy never had the "NCAA 5k record" (whatever that is). She had, and still has the outdoor in season 5k record. She never had the indoor record, which is what Valby bested several times.
You don't know what the record is? Valby has it. But that Tuohy girl was a great little high school runner.

keep trying, Valby now has the indoor and "All dates" 5k records. But it was Lisa Koll's record she broke, not Tuohy's.
That is correct.
