Impressive to run 3:34 for the win. Nico and Colin were so close. Were they trying to beat each other or just trying to finish together? Centro is way ahead of his usual schedule. Abdi's also rounding into shape, while Luis looks to be behind schedule.
Honestly not surprising from Nico. But this is a big step foward for Centro, he may actually be a factor now at trials...
Very similar performance to his opener before the last trials…I think it was a little later on as well in May…the whole idea with Centro is to bash on him so he does pull through like the top G he is.
Time for the high school kids to bash on his posts again, you know with the whole “your move” “washed”…c’mon get the old man pissed and primed to do his thang.
"He's a 3:48 miler" altitude morans go home devastated
It's a 3:51 1500m to mile conversion, that's pretty good for a longer distance guy. Maybe with pacers and a genuine attempt at the NCAA record he could get closer to that 3:48

I think most of his rivals are too nervous to bash him this year. With Yared being a 3:43 miler and Cole Hocker having his cartoonishly good finishing kick, that leaves one spot left on the team.
The last thing any of his competitors/haters wanna do is poke fun at him because, if they do, he’ll get that third spot. He went from 3:40/1:50 shape to narrowly losing the Olympic trials in a two month span last time
Bravo to the Olympic chap. This makes things much more interesting. I wrote him off in December but this gives his fans some hope he can be a factor in 7 weeks.
