If you cannot beat Cooper Teare at a given distance, you are not an Olympic hopeful.
The 3:32.16 ranks him a strong USA #04 candidate. His 13:06 from 2022 is outdated, he is sub-13 ready right now. And though he has not contested a 10000, he could definitely stay with Grant Fischer and beat Kincaid.
Who is truly ahead of Teare?
1500: Nuguse, Hocker, Kessler
5000: Fischer
10000: Fischer
That's why I say, if you cant beat him youre really not an Olympic hopeful. The 3:32.16 trumps most all at the 1500 - 10000 distances.

Why don't you just say "I love Cooper Teare!"? I mean, you don't provide any logical justification for your claims. You don't just get to decide that he can stay with Fisher in a 10K, and beat Kincaid (and everybody else), just because you think he's so cool. If it was that easy, everybody would make the Olympic team.
The 1500 listing is a repeat of what I said in post #1. Looking at subscription-free 2023-24 lists, Nuguse nor Klecker beat Cooper Teare at 5000 right now.

He is clearly more physically talented than Kincaid. No need to say love.
If Klecker or Kincaid cant beat Teare at 1500, it's game over because Teare could sit and kick on whatever grindfest strategy they throw at him.

Big difference between 13:06 and “he is sub 13 right now”.

I don't think you understand the meaning of curtail.
I agree. He has the strength and decent raw speed for the 5000m from a viewer’s standpoint. But I guess he yearns for to contest in the American’s dream distance: 1500m. So 5000m in the Olympic Trials may be just a backup race after all (Round 2 of 2023)
