Forget illegal Imagine spring-loaded moon boots with blades for feet! (Definitely not allowed). While crazy tech like that might shave off seconds, it wouldn't be running anymore. Paralympian tech is for different needs, but better prosthetics could be interesting. For now, supershoes with more plates are being explored, but the focus seems to be on optimizing the existing design, not going sci-fi.
