But yes, still in middle school so you only read so much into their performances of course. no need to trash them though. 4:51 is fast no matter how you slice it and if she never runs sub 4:45 in her life she will always have this record.

Engelhardt ran 4:40 in the 8th grade so it is not the 8th grade record.
