Hello all! I have a pair of Hoka Cielo X2 Ld spikes, which have a cracked carbon plate. Pushing down on the shoes, the one with the cracked plate is considerably less responsive. It's a skinny crack going all the way through a narrow part of the spike. Would superglue be worthwhile as a temporary fix? As I do have my first 3200m of indoor season tommorow :/
No, that will not work. Send the shoe back, or take it back to the store where you purchased it and get a new pair. Defective shoes. If you're race is tomorrow and you cannot go to the store to exchange, run in another pair of shoes.

Go to the store right now and buy Shoe Goo. apply it down the crack as soon as possible in a well ventilated temperature neutral location. leave it to sit, dry and off-gas until your race. you might have enough time for it to dry and hold.
It is the best and only product to use, you don't have time to try anything else.
Please do not spend any prolonged amount of time inhaling the vapors from the product, they are the silent brain killer type of vapors, not the kind that give warning signs.
I use Shoe Goo to retread my shoes. I have a pair of Asics GTS14's that I am still using. Once they got bald, I just applied a few layers of Shoe Goo and made my own tread pattern. I have done this well over 10x on those shoes.
I still use those shoes on a regular basis. I must have well over 10,000 miles on them.
Though the uppers are in rough shape where my big toe has worn it (hole), but overall the shoes themselves are really, really well made.
Don't use shoe goo. It's just a soft rubbery compound made resurface rubber outsoles.
Either return the shoes if you can or try and find a very hard two part epoxy. Epoxy can be found at most hardware stores. It is easy to mix and apply. It won't look pretty, but it will hold for a decent amount of time. Carbon fiber is essentially a lightweight cloth coated in epoxy.
Epoxy from the hardware store usually comes in a clear plastic package with a cardboard back. Peel away the cardboard and use the plastic package as the throwaway mixing bowl.
