Should be a fun one:
Impressive domination from Houser. Underlines the point that running from the front is often best in these super slow 1500/mile races.
How many times does Adam Spencer of Wisconsin want to push someone out of the way? Pushed Sahlman twice
Houser tactical masterclass. Spencer tried to bully his way to the title (watching Kerr/Mahkloufi tape?), but it was not enough.
roller derby out there, worse than an 800
Colin sahlman has perfected his elbow. Great race from Lucas bons, perfect for Houser
Congrats to Houser but that was one of the worst races I have ever seen.
Let the defending champion sit on the rail in the front the whole race is a hell of a strategy from every other person in that race.
Also colin lost a point by less than a hundredth by not dipping at the finish
Sahlman needs to be careful not to get himself DQed with all his pushing.
And (unrelated) I was sad to see Gary Martin go down.
in a tactical race Houser has the advantage. experience wins.

Colin's arm flail is kind of annoying to watch
one of the more physical races I’ve ever watched but that was fun. Too bad for Gary, it seemed like someone was bound to go down in this race. Waskom disappointed. Sahlman hung in there but ran most of the race in lanes 2 and 3.
Shows you the trickiness of this race that Waskom looked completely out of his depth out there even with lots of experience. Gary Martin notably was in trouble throughout. Khan and Sahlman definitely really fit but got rebuffed/outmaneuvered a lot.

In hoops Sahlman would be called a hack
Way too much unnecessary speeding up Then ..contact
Right into even more traffic, then push someone again.
Sahlman/Khan will be a nice rivalry to see in years to come. both super talented, just young and inexperienced running tactical races.
There's a protest in the men's mile. What's the rule on keeping the cones on the track? That seemed to keep the mile runners from being able to go wide and may have contributed to the pushing and eventual fall. I thought the officials are supposed to pick those up after the first lap.

I didn’t quite get why they did. Gary Martin almost ran into them.
Pretty underwhelming race. Was waskom hurt at some point in the season?
Khan decided to run the 1600. Exciting guy his tactics are just awful right now.
