0.79 off the Olympic standard. Is this the greatest college championship race ever?
Phenomenal race by Valby!!
Haven’t seen her able to finish that hard before, she’s usually a front runner. She really cranked up the pace as she went.
Settle down there fella. There are women who could run that 3 times in a row without stopping.
But can they do that without doping?
Who cares they are doped up brutes, Valbymania is the queen of clean!
Just missed the standard but she now has the ranking to get in pretty much
I am not sure about that. Maybe not.

How far off would Tuhoy have been? I don't think she can break 15:10 .
And she was tired too. Strange way to try to double.
She has a huge engine but can she add fitness. My impression is training wise she is maxed out.

Women? Or woman? One is correct, the other is not (and the one is nearly certainly doping).
Wake me up when she can close in 28.61

That was extremely impressive to watch.
There are genuine oddities about Valby. Her ability to keep coming back stronger from injury. The fact that she never seems to tire. And her personality from the interview seems odd, even off. Again why is she gunning a 5000m if she wants to double unless she has a reason not to worry about tiring? If she can put monster effort after monster effort without fatigue, that seems unusual.
I only came here to the Letshate message board to see how many posts before the 1st negative one. A little surprised, thought it might take 10 or so
The expectation would be that she feels the effects of this race tomorrow. Yet in her entire collegiate career I have never seen her genuinely tired, even when she lost. You going to explain that with cross-training? H'm.

Yet when Tuohy would DOMINATE Valby, it wasn't suspicious at all?
Valby actually has a personality, and is more marketable, and faster.

If you saw the pools of sweat on the UF training room floor after she does a 100 minute workout on the ARC trainer daily, youd know why a 15 min 5k is not a problem.
