From the article on the front page: "Coleman declined to speak with LetsRun.com at the Millrose Games in February and his boycott of LetsRun.com continued as he refused to answer any questions from the press with LetsRun in the vicinity and walked off"

You should have higher standards for your athletes. He didn't just refuse to answer a question, he refused to answer questions from anyone as long as LetsRun was nearby. It's crazy that he's blacklisting them for asking about Noah Lyles and 2021, the last Olympic year, at a press conference where he was about to race Noah Lyles in an Olympic year.

The fact that he wouldn't answer any questions until Letsrun moved away was pretty surprising. I give him props for really sticking with his decision.
Though, I wonder what sort of media availability rules exist for these meets and how they're enforced. Obviously, the NFL and other sports leagues are able to fine athletes, but that's not really feasible in track.

That interview with Elle at US indoors was so awkward. She was clearly uncomfortable as the stammering, stuttering interviewer made it worse. It really shouldn’t be so difficult.
Track athletes want to get paid and treated like big sport athletes, but they don't want to fulfill any of the media/fan/competition obligations that come with that. Only answering softball questions from reporters that fawn over you is a disservice to this sport.
Pat Mahomes doesn't get to avoid answering questions from media outlets he doesn't like in pre and post-game mandated interviews.
C Coleman as many Olympic and World Championship medals. He wants some respect. Shoving a microphone in his face is not helping him. What is the upside for C Coleman to interview? C Coleman is an ESPN/Fox Sports/Sports Illustrated level athlete.

To be honest, not sure that I personally care to hear anything he has to say anyway.
For one he's "mysteriously" not at the same level he was prior to missing drug tests and being banned from the sport.
Secondly he's not exactly a very compelling personality - he kind of just mumbles cliche drivel about "being ready" and "god" - you can like or dislike Lyles for whatever reasons at least he's interesting. Coleman is as interesting as a cold moist sweat towel.

Would you talk to the BroJos? I wouldn’t talk to those silver spoon jackasses if they were coinjoined to my back.
If more athletes knew what goes on on this message board then letsrun would get zero interviews. You think Jakob, a guy who takes his wife's last name, would ever talk to brojos again if he had even the slightest idea of the kind of sewage that gets posted here? Not a chance.

Wait, he has a beef with Lyles? Doesn’t like him moving down to 60m and 100m I guess. He must hate getting caught from behind even in a 60m by Lyles. Well hopefully he’ll be watching Lyles roll around, laugh, jump, and stick out his tongue a lot this year.
If I recall correctly, during the whole missed tests decable, his dad came on the boards pretty hot. Then he just looked weird after only getting off on a technicality.
