Boulder sure looks nice in the winter.
Boulder sure looks nice in the winter.
Niwot High School, home track of Elise Cranberry!
It is nice in winter....except when it isn't.
Boulder bro
Video length: 4:20 buddeeeeee
How many times did Coach Joe say "Relaxxxx"?
<yawn>
How much does Niwot get from Team BoBo to use their track?
Is this the track where Emma allegedly shoved a special needs kid?
What a waste of nearly 4 and a half minutes. The video has practically no substance. Very few specifics of the workout. Just a pointless hype video.
Niwot, bro.
Don't do the voice.
how come theyre running in lane 2, brah
Niwot hiding the fact that Emma Coburn assaulted a special needs kid still. Shame.
Not sure how much you should be paying attention to the Boss since the Marathon Trials. He had favorites in both races according to some. 1 DNF, 1 DNS. BTC actually had someone in the top 100 in both races. Team Boss chokes by any metric, even showed up by Jerry's disastrous showing.
God I hope Elise Cranny doesn't regress under him. She has been incredible the last couple years -- 2nd all time US women's miler, double champ, etc.
I don't think Boss is terrible. I just think once you get to the elite level, having advanced knowledge of how to get runners fit is insufficient. There's just something about getting that last 1% out of your athletes, peaking properly, balancing all the factors, etc. that people like Sang, Jerry, Canova, Alberto, Mackey, et al have that I'm still not convinced Boss has.
Jerry has been known to do this to, but part of it could be that they are training in a huge group of people with very different skillsets and events doing what appear to be pretty similar workouts.
BTC had ZERO elite finishers. Their only finishers since 2016 Olympic Marathon trials have been from their club team.
What's Scott Fauble up to? Is he running a spring marathon?
Where's emma knocking over kid on track.
Joey knows a lot. About hoodies.
It must be a pro's thing. Was that Emma though? I heard that about the Tinman group too.
Be evenhanded about your coaching critiques. Bosshard has had remarkable success with Coburn on the world stage and while his athletes are not always healthy and improving, he's kept a strong group together for years and his athletes seem happy. By contrast, Canova's had extremely high fliers on many, many occasions, but in a country with constant distance running success, and he has had athletes get injured on numerous occasions and never come back. Jerry's had his group disintegrate, had an athlete banned, had numerous major injuries in his group.
