Even after a lapped runner causes 3 of them to fall they still go 1-5 in the 5000. What a great program.

So how many guys did Adams not send to conference for the egg heads to go 1-5?
Ah, big flex by Adams to not send top runners to RMAC's (again) and then brag about it after. Props to Mines for actually caring about the sport, and the conference.
Only D2 guys would think that Mines guys are eggheads. The school would be average in D! but is viewed as smart when compared to D2 schools.
Whatever dude
Colorado School of Mines grads are some of the highest paid graduates right out of school and for their whole career. Better than Duke, Georgetown, Brown, Dartmouth, UofChicago, Carnegie Mellon, Rice, Cornell, USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, and most all others too.
...and significantly more than whatever backwater school you went to
And at least one of their XC All-Americans didn’t run. Not sure what his eligibility is, but he should at least have a Covid outdoor year.
They are nearly all majoring engineering. Apples to oranges to compare salaries of all students.
Yep.
Makes it even more impressive for Mines athletes actually. They work significantly harder in school.
That's why we affectionately call them eggheads.
they are actually called Colorado School of the MInds - not Mines.
That part is true. Kids at highly selective schools are just smart. Mines kids work hard.
And on top of all that, the cost of living in Golden is mind boggling. Nothing under 1 million dollars. Not even a small crappy ranch house.
is this relevant? How many college students OWN their own house during college?0.0001%
I want to know how one lapped runner cause 3 runners to fall. Video?
Some poor kid getting lapped tried to move out of lane 1 for them with very bad timing.
Also to note, Mines women going 1-4 in the 5k. Impressive in that its hard to even find a woman at Mines with their 70-30 ratio.
Kinda stated above. No hate to the mines team but it’s easy to win when there are no competitors. Also easy for their women to win when they have a 6th year and 5th years running against young unranked rmac runners.
What were their times?
1 Loic Scomparin: 14:16.37
2 Paul Knight: 14:23.36
3 Duncan Fuehne: 14:28.09
4 Daniel Appleford: 14:29.40
