If he’s beating Coleman at 60 no one is beating him at 100.
Can’t hurt the 200 right?

Anything can happen in a one off 100m race, but it bodes well. Tebogo is going to push him in the 200.
Not so fast.
Letsile Tebogo ran 30.69 in the 300 today, beating the times of Bolt, WVN, and MJ.
I forgot who made the prediction about Tebogo winning double gold but I feel like letsrun gets blessed with getting exactly 1 absolutely ridiculous sounding sprint prediction correct every year.
In the NBC commercial he just won
Of those 3, only Bolt is beating Lyles in a 100m. He actually has a better chance in the 200, even though that is Lyles main event.
hate to say it but you are probably right.
If it looks like Lyles is unbeatable in the 100 will that push Kerley back to the 400?
L Tebogo will split 2nd 100m extremely fast. Two -hundred meter dash will be the race to watch.
Maybe Tebogo should run the 400m, because he is not going to beat a Noah Lyles who can beat Coleman in the 60m in the 200m. Tebogo may be able to get silver in the 200m, assuming only that Erriyon Knighton is no better than in April 2022 (19.49).
It's not over because the 100 is a race you don't have time to correct if you don't execute well. Lyles has done well so far but it's still anyone's chance at victory in the 100.
I think that Noah need to keep an eye out for Knighton.
Don't forget about Fred Kerley!

It's hard not to call him the favorite. He deserves it. Does any big name race more Lyles? He shows up again and again.
Kerley has reached his ceiling. He should really consider going back to the 400
kerley is finished
Gold in the 100, an ironic silver in the 200
Lyles massive improvement over 60m in the recent years hasn't really translate into his 100m until now (went from 9.86 to 9.83 in 4 years). Did he became significantly better or is he just ready sooner because the World indoors are one of his goal? According to PJ Vazel, 6.43 was also his first 60m split time in Budapest. For him to be intouchable he'll have to go mid-high 6.3 next summer. His 60m ind was already better than Omanyala's last season but he was often behind the Kenyan at the 60m mark outd so we don't know how everything will translate
I personnally think he can threaten gay's record but he'll also have to slightly improve his top speed to do so
