Didn’t they agree never to have an Olympics at elevation again because of the health issues for the distance athletes particularly? Obvs Kip Keino was born and raised at altitude, but for many of thise who weren’t it was a big problem. Just why are they having the US champs so high up? Albuquerque is great (and super fast) for sprints, but slow and not great at all for distance athletes. Also, it’s a very uneven playing field - every distance individual is different and some will find the altitude much harder than others and ‘clap out’.

Not with humans. She wouldn't stand a chance with even the smallest male US distance runners. There are weight classes in contact sports for a reason and there are separate divisions for women in all sports for a reason. All that aside, she is a sweetheart.
